For medical emergencies or if you need medically equipped transport, call Discovery 911 at 0860 999 911 or +27 11 529 6900 if you are outside of South Africa. These lines are available at all hours.[1]
For hospital authorisations, claims queries, or benefit information, contact Discovery Health at 0860 99 88 77 or +27 11 529 6900 outside South Africa. Hours are 07:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 13:00 Saturdays; closed Sundays and public holidays.[1]
For general queries, you can get help on WhatsApp all hours. Discovery agents are available via WhatsApp chat from 07:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.[2]
For claims submissions, email claims@discovery.co.za or use the Discovery app or website.[6]
