Unfortunately, applications for 2024 closes the 30th of September 2023, however, some programmes have earlier closing dates, so please visit www.dut.ac.za to make sure that you apply on time.

Can I study at DUT with 20 points?

In addition to Rule G7, applicants with a National Senior Certificate (NSC) or a Senior Certificate (SC) qualification must score a minimum of 20 points, and achieve a minimum rating/symbol for English as reflected in the Table below.

Can I apply at DUT without Cao?

Applications for Master’s and Doctoral studies do not go via the CAO, but are made directly to the relevant departments. You will need a letter of acceptance from the chosen department, as well as a Letter of Undertaking from the International Office before you can apply for your study visa.
