To request an MFC settlement letter, you can call the MFC Contact Centre on 0860 879 900 or send an email to care@mfc.co.za[1]. There are no fees for this MFC self-service option[1].

You can also request a settlement letter by emailing selfservice@mfc.co.za with the subject line formatted as S followed by your ID number (e.g. S 0000000000001), leaving the body of the email blank[2]. The letter will be sent to the email address MFC has on record[2].

If you prefer SMS, send S followed by a space and your ID number to 31795 (charged at R1.50 per SMS)[2]. My Account in my hands™ service will verify your details and SMS the settlement figure to your cellphone[2].
