How do I check if I am registered with SANC?

How to check SANC registration status

  1. Go to www.sanc.co.za.
  2. Click on the “Registered Nurses and Midwives”
  3. Click “eRegister”
  4. On the next page tap on the “click here to start the eRegister system”
  5. Click “I accept the condition of use”
  6. Enter your SANC Number or SA Identity Number in the specified space and;
  7. Click “Find”

How do I get a SANC registration certificate?

It is the responsibility of every Nursing Education Institution to send a complete, correct learner application form which is accompanied by a prescribed fee within 30 days of commencement of training. Upon registration of the learners, learner registration certificates will be issued.

Who must register with SANC?

If you want to practise nursing or midwifery in South Africa, you must register with the South African Nursing Council.
