How do I claim from my Sanlam Sky funeral Cover?
To apply for a funeral claim, the Funeral Claim form must be completed and submitted to us. Proof of bank account details into which the claim will be paid Bank statement stamped by bank; or Cancelled cheque; or Salary advice with full account number The above should not be older than 3 months.
How can I check my Sanlam claim?
Select the Track Claim Progress button, complete your claim number, click on Submit button and view the progress of the claim. Once you submitted the claim and attached the required documents, we will start the assessment of the claim. If we need more information from you, we will let you know.
What documents do I need to claim at Sanlam?
Gather your information
- Certified copy of the official death certificate issued by the Department of Home Affairs.
- Certified copy of the deceased’s ID.
- A letter from the funeral parlour, on a formal letterhead, confirming that the deceased is in their care.
- BI 1663 completed by the doctor who certified the death.
