What does service SETA do?

Our primary function is to facilitate skills development through learning programmes like learnerships, skills programmes, internships and other learning programmes. We do this by disbursing grants to employers and skills development providers to offer training to employed and unemployed learners.

What does the SETA do?

What do SETAs do? The functions and responsibilities of SETAs are set out in Chapter 3, section 10 the Skills Development Act, 1998. Their main function is to contribute to the raising of skills, to bring skills to the employed, or those wanting to be employed, in their section.

How do I register with services SETA?

Complete the registration process by entering the following details:

  1. Username – this can be any name of your choice.
  2. Password – any password of your choice that is safe and secure.
  3. Email – your personal email address which the Services SETA will use to communicate with you.

What is services SETA funded Programme?

The Services SETA establishes learning programmes such as learnerships, artisan development programmes, candidacies, recognition of prior learning (RPL), internships, bursaries, adult education and training (AET) and apprenticeships for unemployed and employed learners.
