How do I get a car settlement from Standard Bank?

From your home screen:

1. Select the vehicle asset finance account (car loan account) tile.
2. Select “Get a settlement quote” under “Pay off your loan.”
3. Your settlement amount will be displayed, and a settlement quote will be automatically emailed to your email address. This quote will only be valid for five working days.

How do I find out my settlement figure on my car?

All you have to do is get in touch with your finance company and ask them for a “settlement figure”. By law your lender has to post a settlement figure to you within 12 days – usually it will arrive straight away via email or in the post. It must be a letter headed official document.

How do I contact Standard Bank VAF settlement?

You can view your settlement balance on the banking app by adding your VAF account as a tile. Alternatively, you can contact VAF on 0860 000 000.

How is vehicle settlement calculated?

If your finance agreement is less than R250,000 then the settlement amount will generally be your current outstanding capital balance plus daily interest.
