EWC is Ekurhuleni West TVET College, a public technical and vocational college with its corporate centre in Germiston and six campuses across the East Rand. Its website is ewc.edu.za, and every number below is published on the college’s own contact page.
Ekurhuleni West TVET College contact details
- Telephone: 011 323 1600
- Email: [email protected]
- Office hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00
The college uses one mailbox, [email protected], for every campus. Its enquiry form asks you to pick a campus and a subject — application, registration, financial, academic or other — so naming both in an email saves a round trip.

Note that the corporate centre and the Germiston campus are different places on different numbers, even though they share a postal address. The corporate centre handles college-wide administration; the campus handles teaching and student matters.
Which number to phone
For anything to do with a specific student — a mark, a registration, a certificate, a fee statement — phone the campus where the student is enrolled, not the corporate centre. Campus staff hold the records. Use 011 323 1600 for tenders, vacancies, partnerships and anything that is not campus-specific. Tembisa is the only campus that publishes a mobile number alongside its landline; the college lists it as a campus contact rather than an individual’s line.
If the college does not respond
- Public TVET colleges fall under the Department of Higher Education and Training, which is the escalation point for an unresolved complaint.
- NSFAS funding queries are handled by NSFAS directly, not by the college, although the campus financial office can confirm what it has submitted.
- Keep the reference or student number in every message — the enquiry form issues one and the shared mailbox is sorted by it.
