Terms of Use

The terms that apply when you use this site. Please read them before relying on any contact detail published here.

Last updated: 16 August 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By using ContactDetails.co.za you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

2. What this site provides

This site is an independent directory of publicly published contact routes for South African organisations. It is provided for general information so that you can find and then confirm the right way to reach an organisation.

3. Independence from listed organisations

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or acting on behalf of any organisation listed on this site. Names, trade marks and logos referred to on the site belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the organisation concerned.

We cannot access your account with any listed organisation, act on your instructions to them, process claims or payments, or answer on their behalf. Messages sent to us do not reach them.

4. Accuracy and your duty to verify

Contact details change frequently. Although we take reasonable care to keep listings current, we do not warrant that any detail on this site is accurate, complete or up to date at the moment you read it.

Before you call a number, send an email, message a WhatsApp line, complete a form or make any payment, confirm the route on the organisation’s own official website or app. This is especially important for anything involving money, identity documents or account credentials.

5. No professional advice

Nothing on this site is legal, financial, medical, insurance or tax advice. Guides and explanatory articles describe general processes and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional or from the organisation concerned.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, and subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where it applies, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from:

  • reliance on a contact detail, description or guide published on this site;
  • any act or omission of an organisation listed on this site;
  • any fraud, impersonation or scam carried out by a third party, whether or not it involved a contact route resembling one published here;
  • the site being unavailable, interrupted or containing errors.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Acceptable use

You may use this site for your own personal or internal business purposes. You may not:

  • scrape, harvest or systematically copy the directory or any substantial part of it;
  • republish our compiled listings as your own directory or database;
  • use contact details obtained here to send unsolicited marketing;
  • attempt to interfere with, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure;
  • use the site for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading.

8. Intellectual property

The layout, written descriptions, guides and the selection and arrangement of the directory are our property and are protected by copyright. The underlying contact details themselves are facts published by the organisations concerned. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their owners.

9. Links to third-party sites

The site links to external websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, security or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

10. Advertising

This site carries third-party advertising. Advertisements are selected by the advertising network, not by us, and their appearance next to a listing is not an endorsement of the advertiser or a connection between the advertiser and the organisation listed.

11. Reporting an error

If you find an incorrect, outdated or misleading listing, please report it through our contact page so we can review it.

12. Changes to the site and these terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site, and may update these terms, at any time. The date at the top shows when these terms were last revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

14. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these terms.
