Kia South Africa is the local distributor for the Korean vehicle manufacturer. The contact details below were read from the Kia South Africa website on 1 September 2026.

Official contact channels

Kia South Africa publishes no head office email address or postal address. Its Contact links route to the dealer finder rather than to a corporate contact page, so the two numbers above are the whole of the published national contact surface.

The 010 customer care number is a Johannesburg geographic line charged as a normal call. The 0861 roadside number is a shared-cost line and is answered around the clock, because breakdowns are not office-hours events.

What this organisation provides

Kia South Africa distributes the Kia passenger and commercial range – including the Picanto, Sonet and Seltos – through a franchised dealer network, alongside used vehicles, corporate fleet solutions, servicing and roadside assistance.

Almost everything happens at the dealer, not at head office. Test drives, quotes, service bookings, warranty work and parts are dealer functions, and head office cannot see your vehicle history or booking diary. Start at the selling or servicing dealer and use customer care only when the dealer does not resolve it.

Have your VIN ready for any vehicle-specific query. It identifies the exact car, its build specification and its warranty and service-plan status – the registration number alone often will not.

Address and operating information

Kia South Africa does not publish a head office street address or customer care operating hours on its website. Dealer addresses and trading hours are listed individually through the Find a Dealer tool.

Because no corporate address is published, formal or legal correspondence should be sent through the customer care line to obtain the correct address rather than posted to an address found on a directory.

Support and escalation routes

Raise the matter with the dealer principal first, in writing, with the VIN, job card number and dates. If that fails, take it to customer care on 010 595 3228 and keep the reference number you are given.

A vehicle defect is covered by the Consumer Protection Act, where a fault appearing within six months of delivery gives you the choice of repair, replacement or refund. Manufacturer warranty terms sit alongside that right rather than replacing it.

If Kia does not resolve the dispute, the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa adjudicates disputes between consumers and the motor industry at no cost to the consumer. A vehicle finance dispute goes elsewhere – to the National Credit Regulator – because that is an agreement with the bank rather than with Kia.
