The address you would expect is dead. tigerwheelandtyre.co.za still resolves in DNS but returns a 502 Bad Gateway, and the live site is at twt.co.za. Its store locator lists two Bloemfontein branches, and they are not interchangeable – one does 4×4 fitment and the other does not. Read on 6 September 2026.

Both are real 051 landlines. That is worth noting, because much of the Tiger Wheel & Tyre network runs on a central 010 510 range instead – a Bloemfontein number in that range is a routed line, not the store.
Which one you need
The Nelson Mandela Drive store is listed as a 4×4 Fitment Centre. The Mega Park store is not. Everything else the two carry is the same: RCS credit facility, Xpress wheel straightening, automotive battery testing and wheel repairs. So a bakkie or SUV needing 4×4 tyres, load-rated fitment or suspension-height work goes to Nelson Mandela Drive; a passenger car service, a battery or a bent rim can go to either.
WhatsApp before you drive
Each store page carries its own WhatsApp button as well as the landline. For a tyre this is the useful channel, because a photograph of the sidewall settles the size, load index and speed rating in one message – and it tells the store whether they have the stock before you take the car in. The size is the string on the sidewall, in the form 205/55 R16 91V.
Three things to ask when you call
- Ask whether the price quoted includes fitment, balancing and a valve, or whether those are added at the till.
- Wheel alignment is a separate job from fitting tyres. If the car pulled before the new tyres went on, it will still pull after – say so when you book.
- The RCS credit facility is a third-party account, not a store account. Its terms come from RCS, so ask for those in writing before you sign anything at the counter.
