Rea Tsotella is a Moja Love programme, and Moja Love is DStv channel 157. The channel’s published email address is sales@mojalove.co.za, which is for advertising. Everything else goes through a form on its website that has a Show Specific Enquiry option. We do not publish personal contact details for presenters or any private individual. Why there is no presenter number here

This applies to everyone equally, and it does not change on request.

A presenter’s personal phone number or email address is not a public contact route. Television presenters work on programmes made by production companies and carried by broadcasters, and the production company sits between the presenter and the public deliberately. Approaches are logged, allocated and answered through it, which exists as much to protect the person as to manage the volume.

If you need to reach a programme, the channel’s own routes below are the ones that work. A message sent to a presenter’s personal account, even if you find one, does not enter the programme’s system and will not get a case looked at.

Moja Love publishes no telephone number at all. The only address on the site is the sales one, and it is labelled specifically for advertising opportunities on Moja Love, DStv 157.

The form asks you to pick an enquiry type, and the four options tell you how the channel sorts what comes in:

• Show Specific Enquiry, which is the route for anything about Rea Tsotella or any other programme
• Content Submission Enquiry, for offering material to the channel
• Advertising Enquiry
• General Enquiry

Name the programme in the first line of your message. The form does not ask which show you mean, so if you do not say, it has to be worked out.

The website may not open for you

This is the practical problem with the routes above, and it is worth knowing before you conclude that you have the wrong address.

When we checked, mojalove.co.za was failing its security certificate check. The certificate the site presents was issued for a different hostname, its own webmail subdomain, and it expired on 30 December 2024. The plain address also redirects to the secure one, so there is no working way around it.

In practice most browsers will show a full-page security warning and refuse to load the site. That means the contact form may be unreachable for you even though the address is correct.

Two related signs that the site is not being maintained: the footer still reads © 2021, and the programme schedule lists broadcast times from 2021 and 2022. Rea Tsotella is listed there as Monday and Wednesday at 21:00, but treat those times as out of date and check the current DStv guide instead.

There is also a domain worth avoiding confusion over. mojalovetv.co.za has no DNS records at all and does not resolve. The channel’s domain is mojalove.co.za.

The route that does work

Because Moja Love is carried on DStv, a viewer complaint about the channel or a query about watching it can go to DStv, whose channels are working and staffed.

Be clear about the difference before you call. DStv can help with the channel, your subscription, reception and whether you have access to 157. DStv cannot help with the content of a programme, a case featured on it, or a request to appear. That is the channel’s and the production company’s territory, and the Show Specific Enquiry route is the one for it.

If your matter is serious

Programmes of this kind deal with disputes between real people, and some of what viewers write in about is urgent.

A television programme is not an emergency service, an investigator or a legal remedy, and a contact form is not a substitute for one. If someone is in danger, contact the police on 10111. A programme cannot act faster than that and does not have the power to.

Finally, be careful with anyone who contacts you claiming to represent a show and asks for money, banking details or a fee to appear. Moja Love publishes one email address and no telephone number, so there is very little that can be verified against, and that is exactly the gap people exploit.
