The corporate centre is in Germiston and the college runs six campuses across the East Rand, each with its own number below. The college uses one mailbox, info@ewc.edu.za, for every campus. Its enquiry form asks you to pick a campus and a subject: application, registration, financial, academic or other. Naming both in an email saves a round trip.

Note that the corporate centre and the Germiston campus are different places on different numbers, even though they share a postal address. The corporate centre handles college-wide administration; the campus handles teaching and student matters.

Which EWC number to phone

For anything to do with a specific student, a mark, a registration, a certificate or a fee statement, phone the campus where the student is enrolled, not the corporate centre. Campus staff hold the records. Use 011 323 1600 for tenders, vacancies, partnerships and anything that is not campus-specific.

Tembisa is the only campus that publishes a mobile number alongside its landline; the college lists it as a campus contact rather than an individual’s line.

If the college does not respond

  • Public TVET colleges fall under the Department of Higher Education and Training, which is the escalation point for an unresolved complaint.
  • NSFAS funding queries are handled by NSFAS directly, not by the college, although the campus financial office can confirm what it has submitted.
  • Keep the reference or student number in every message: the enquiry form issues one and the shared mailbox is sorted by it.

Frequently asked questions

What is the EWC contact number?

The central number is 011 323 1600 for the corporate centre in Germiston and for anything that is not campus-specific. Each campus has its own line in the table above.

What is the EWC email address?

info@ewc.edu.za, one mailbox for every campus. Name your campus and your subject, application, registration, financial, academic or other, so the query reaches the right desk.

Where is the Ekurhuleni West TVET College Alberton campus?

The Alberton Campus is at 25 Lake Arthur Street, Brackendowns 1448, on 010 023 7371, fax 011 900 1712. Post goes to PO Box 166575, Brackendowns 1454.

Who handles EWC financial aid and NSFAS queries?

The campus financial office can confirm what the college has submitted, but NSFAS funding queries are handled by NSFAS directly, not by the college. NSFAS is the contact for the funding question itself.

Which EWC campus do I phone about my marks or registration?

The campus where the student is enrolled, not the corporate centre. Campus staff hold the student records; 011 323 1600 is for tenders, vacancies, partnerships and anything that is not campus-specific.
