NOSA is a South African provider of occupational health and safety training, auditing and consulting, operating since 1951. One thing to know before you make contact: NOSA states on its own site that NOSA is part of SafetyCloud, and its published contact channels use the safetycloud.co.za domain. A reply from SafetyCloud is genuine, not a misdirection. Everything below was read from the NOSA contact page on 31 August 2026.
Official contact channels
- Contact centre: +27 87 330 3790
- General email: [email protected]
- Online: the contact form on nosa.co.za
- Student login: the learner portal linked from the site
The 087 prefix is a national non-geographic number, so the Centurion head office location does not change what the call costs. NOSA publishes a single contact centre number rather than separate training, certification and accounts lines, so state at the outset which you need.
Admissions and student support
NOSA delivers occupational health and safety qualifications and short courses, in several formats, through its own training operation and the NOSA Colleges network. Its site organises offerings by course and by format, and runs a student login for enrolled learners.
Before contacting NOSA about a course, have the course name and format, the dates or intake you are asking about, and the location or college if you are studying in person. If you are already enrolled, quote your student or learner number.
The single most important question to ask before paying for any safety course is what the certificate is accredited against and by whom. Occupational health and safety training in South Africa spans accredited qualifications, industry certificates and internal company programmes, and they are not interchangeable when an employer or a client audits your credentials. Ask NOSA to confirm the accreditation in writing, and keep that confirmation with your certificate.
If your employer is paying, confirm who holds the training record and whether the certificate is issued in your name or the company – that determines whether the credential follows you when you change jobs.
Campus and address information
- Head office: SafetyCloud Head Office, Block E, Lakefield Office Park, 84 Lenchen Avenue, Die Hoewes, Centurion, 0163
The head office is published under the SafetyCloud name rather than NOSA, which is consistent with the group relationship stated on the site. NOSA does not publish head office operating hours or individual college addresses on its main contact page – the NOSA Colleges section of the site lists training locations separately.
Because much training is delivered at client sites and regional venues rather than at head office, confirm the actual venue when you book. The Centurion address is administrative and is not where a scheduled course will necessarily run.
Escalation routes
Raise a service or course complaint with the contact centre on +27 87 330 3790 or [email protected], in writing where possible, and keep the reference.
For conduct matters, the group runs an independently operated whistleblowing channel so reports need not pass through its own staff:
- Toll-free whistleblowing hotline: 0800 007 721
- Online: whistleblowing.co.za
The group states this channel covers fraud, corruption, misconduct, unethical behaviour and breaches of law or company policy, that disclosures may be made anonymously where the law permits, and that reports are handled confidentially.
Where a complaint concerns the accreditation or validity of a qualification rather than service, take it to the accrediting body named on your certificate. For training paid for as a consumer, the Consumer Protection Act applies and the National Consumer Commission is the escalation route.
