Seda Contact Details
SEDA is now SEDFA, the Small Enterprise Development and Finance Agency. In Polokwane it has three offices. The Limpopo Provincial Office is on 015 290 8720 at 68 Hans van Rensburg Street, and the Polokwane Regional Office is on 015 817 2370 at 43 Biccard Street. We read this on sedfa.org.za on 24 September 2026.

Two of those three are the same place. The Capricorn Branch shares both the address and the telephone number of the Limpopo Provincial Office, so 68 Hans van Rensburg Street houses both.
That leaves two addresses to choose between, and they carry different postal codes despite both being in Polokwane Central: 0699 for Hans van Rensburg Street and 0700 for Biccard Street. Use the street name, not the code.
SEDA no longer exists under that name
If searches for SEDA have been leading nowhere, this is why.
The agency now trades as the Small Enterprise Development and Finance Agency, SEDFA. The old address www.seda.org.za now points at www.sedfa.org.za, so it still gets you there.
The bare domain does not. seda.org.za without the www returns an error page, so a saved bookmark in that form will fail. Use sedfa.org.za.
Expect the old name to persist on signage, in directories and on printed material for some time. An office calling itself SEDA in Polokwane is the same organisation.

Note the dialling code on the last one. Sekhukhune is a Limpopo branch but uses a 013 number, because Groblersdal falls in that dialling area. It is not a misprint.

SEDFA publishes a National Credit Regulator number, NCR 20821, which is checkable and worth noting given that the agency now handles finance as well as development support.
Two faults on SEDFA’s own website
Both are worth knowing, because both will send you the wrong way.
First, the Get In Touch page displays a placeholder telephone number in its Phones block, in the American format 800 123-0045, listed twice, with placeholder opening hours beside it. It is leftover template text, not a SEDFA number. The real numbers are in the page footer.
Second, the menu item labelled “SEDFA Offices” does not link to the offices page. It points at the fraud hotline page instead. The actual office list, with every branch in the country, is at sedfa.org.za/sedfa-offices.html.
SEDFA lists offices in all nine provinces on that page, structured as a provincial office, regional offices and district branches.
Reporting fraud
SEDFA runs a fraud hotline on 0800 724 666, with an email address at sedfa@thehotline.co.za.
That mailbox sits on an outside domain, which looks odd but is correct. It is an independently run ethics line, and the same service is used by other South African public bodies for exactly that reason.
Given that SEDFA administers funding for small businesses, anyone demanding a fee to secure you a grant or a loan from it is worth reporting there.
