The Services SETA is the Sector Education and Training Authority for South Africa’s services sector, covering cleaning and hiring, personal care, real estate, labour and collective services, management and business services, and communication and marketing. It runs the head office in Parktown, Johannesburg, and a provincial office in every province. All contact details below are taken from the Services SETA’s own contact page at serviceseta.org.za.

Services SETA head office

The customer care line and mailbox are the general entry points for learners, employers, skills development providers and suppliers. Specific business areas are handled through the online portals rather than by phone: the Learner Portal, the DG Portal, the Invoice Management Hub and the Contract Management Hub are all linked from the Services SETA site.

Provincial offices

The Services SETA describes its provincial offices as the implementation vehicles that deliver on the National Skills Development Strategy, and set them up so member companies can engage face to face on their own industry. Each office publishes a switchboard number on the national contact page.

A note on the provincial email addresses

The Services SETA contact page lists a named contact person for most provinces, each with a mailbox built from that person’s own name. Those are individual staff mailboxes rather than office addresses, so they are not repeated here — they change when staff change, and they are the wrong route for a general enquiry. The two genuine office mailboxes, GautengPO@serviceseta.org.za and ecprovince@serviceseta.org.za, are listed above. For every other province, use the provincial number or the national customer care mailbox.

If your query is not answered

  • Start with customercare@serviceseta.org.za or 011 276 9600 and ask for a reference number.
  • Grant, accreditation and learner-registration queries have dedicated portals on serviceseta.org.za — the call centre will point you to the right one.
  • The Services SETA falls under the Department of Higher Education and Training, which is the escalation point if the SETA itself does not resolve a complaint.
