Google publishes no telephone number for South Africa, or for anywhere else. Its contact page offers help channels rather than a switchboard, so there is no number to call for a Google product problem.
Official contact channels
- Product support: the Google Help Centre
- Press enquiries: [email protected]
- Careers: the Google Careers site
- Johannesburg office: no telephone number published
What this organisation provides
Google runs its consumer support entirely through the Help Centre, which handles questions and issue reports per product rather than centrally. Account recovery, advertising, and product faults each have their own flow inside it, and there is no general enquiries address.
Address and operating information
The South African office is at Building E, Ballyoaks Office Park, 35 Ballyclare Drive, Johannesburg, 2021. It is an office rather than a walk in support centre, and Google lists no phone number against it in its own locations directory.
Support and escalation routes
Press is the only enquiry type with a published mailbox. For anything consumer facing, the Help Centre is the route Google intends, and arriving at the Johannesburg office in person will not get a product issue resolved. A complaint about how a South African user is treated as a consumer can be taken to the National Consumer Commission, and a data privacy complaint to the Information Regulator.
