Two separate things answer to the name Credit Clear Solutions in South Africa, and nothing published by either one connects them. One is a credit provider on the National Credit Regulator register. The website of the same name
creditclear-solutions.com does resolve. What it returns is a holding page reading Credit Clear Solutions is coming soon, under the strapline Trusted South African financial services provider, with a login link and three social icons. There is no address on it, no mailbox, no phone number and no registration number.
It also serves a certificate it issued to itself rather than one from a recognised authority, so most browsers stop you with a security warning before the page loads. Nothing on the page names the company behind it, so it cannot be matched to the registered credit provider above, and it should not be treated as that company simply because the words are the same.
Checking a credit provider yourself
- Ask for the NCRCP number in writing, then search that number on the NCR register of registered credit providers rather than searching the trading name.
- A registrant with no phone number on the register is not irregular, but it does mean any number you were given came from somewhere else and is unverified.
