Navaho Spur closes an hour earlier on Sundays. Each restaurant has its own online booking site: sioux.spurbookings.co.za, navaho.spurbookings.co.za and cahokia.spurbookings.co.za. Spur’s restaurant data lists the same ordering options for all three: sit-down, walk-in, collection, call-and-order, online and app ordering, and delivery through Mr D. Spur App and rewards
The Spur Family App earns points towards Rewards Vouchers when you order delivery or collection through it, and gives app-only specials, competition entries, member offers and a restaurant finder. To join, download the app, sign up, save your details and add your children. Spur’s Loyalty page gives the Customer Care number as 086 000 7787, the same number as 0860 007 787 grouped differently.
Kids’ parties and gift vouchers
Spur books kids’ birthday parties through “Book a Party” on its Kids page. Each party includes a kids’ meal, fruit juice or soda, soft-serve ice cream and a Spur Party Box. The price is R119.90 per child for a Yummy Kids Combo (pizza, fish fingers, viennas, toasties or mac and cheese), or R136.90 per child for any meal on the kids’ menu. Spur says Play Canyon attendants are always on duty and every child gets a wristband. Once a party is confirmed, you can send free invites online. Spur gift vouchers are bought online for up to R2,000 each, with up to 5 per checkout, and are valid for 3 years.
About Spur
Spur began in 1967, when founder Allen Ambor opened the Golden Spur in Newlands, Cape Town. It has since grown into an internationally recognised family restaurant brand, with restaurants in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Eswatini, Lesotho, Zambia, Kenya, Nigeria, Mauritius and Zimbabwe.
