Official SANTS finance route
SANTS says its student finance team will work with you to create a monthly payment plan tailored to your budget. The team is reached through Student Support: call 0800 872 687 on weekdays from 09:00 to 16:30, or email support@sants.co.za. For questions about financial aid options, including bursaries and flexible payment plans, SANTS’s FAQ directs you to info@sants.co.za.
SANTS publishes an example of average tuition fees per payment option:
- Registration fee: R2 500, payable annually in December or June depending on your start date.
- Option 1: two semester instalments of R9 768, due 31 March and 31 August.
- Option 2: ten monthly instalments of R1 954, from January to May and July to November.
The tuition fee includes all study material, assignments, tuition, examinations and access to a student portal.

If you plan to use a loan or bursary, SANTS lists these partner routes, each with its own application process:

For private or government bursaries, you research and apply yourself, and SANTS provides supporting documentation.
Step-by-step SANTS finance process
- Check the fee and payment options on sants.co.za/how-to-fund-your-studies/ and choose semester or monthly instalments.
- Pay the annual registration fee, which falls due in December or June depending on your start date.
- If you need an alternative payment arrangement, contact Student Support on 0800 872 687 or support@sants.co.za before the semester starts.
- For bursary or financial aid eligibility questions, email info@sants.co.za.
- For a study loan, apply directly with the partner lender (Fundi, Capitec or Nedbank) linked from the funding page.
Escalation route
SANTS does not publish a separate finance escalation line. If a fee query is not resolved, follow up in writing to support@sants.co.za so you have a record, or write to SANTS at P.O. Box 72328, Lynnwood Ridge, 0040. SANTS is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as a private higher education institution, registration number 2012/HE07/003, registered until 31 December 2028.
