Son’s Kontak Sonland page gives two direct lines for readers: WhatsApp on 076 956 8692 and phone on 021 406 2316. The page then splits email by topic:
- News stories: if you have a news story, email nuus@kaapseson.com.

- Advertising: to advertise your business in Son, email sonads@son.co.za.
- Advice: ask the Antie Mona advice column at Antie.Mona@son.co.za.
Son also runs a WhatsApp Channel, linked from the same page, if you want to follow its stories on WhatsApp rather than contact the newsroom.
What this organisation provides
Son is an Afrikaans tabloid in Media24’s 24.com and Netwerk24 stable. Its news sections include Kaapse Nuus, Boland and Suid-Kaap, and its newsroom mailboxes use the kaapseson.com domain. Netwerk24 reported in June 2023 that the Son newspaper would be available weekly. The latest print edition can be read online through Netwerk24 e-publications.
Son is not the same as Netwerk24’s own subscriber service desk, so subscription questions for Netwerk24 are not handled by the Son newsroom lines above.
Address and operating information
Son does not publish a street address or office hours on its contact page. Use WhatsApp, phone or the topic email addresses above. Son’s older contact page address, /dieson/kontak-sonland-20191004, no longer works; the current page is at /blog-jou-ore/kontak-sonland-20250131-0706.
Support and escalation routes
Son does not publish a separate escalation route. Send your story or query to the right mailbox first, and follow up on WhatsApp 076 956 8692 or by phone on 021 406 2316 if you need to.
Other companies starting with D are listed in the business directory, D listings.
