Ford Gezina is CMH Ford Gezina, and the mailbox it publishes is not a person. [email protected] is a lead-capture address feeding the group’s sales system, which changes what you should send to it: a sales enquiry will be picked up, and a service complaint or an account query will sit. CMH Ford Gezina
- Telephone: 012 404 9200
- E-mail: [email protected]
- Address: 610 Steve Biko Road, Gezina, Pretoria
- Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 to 17:00, Saturday 09:00 to 13:00, public holidays closed
Note the public holidays line. This dealership shuts completely on a public holiday, where several other Ford branches in Gauteng trade a half day from 08:30 to 13:00. If you are planning a holiday-period collection or hand-back, that difference is the one that catches people.
The enquiry form is the routing
Rather than departmental numbers, CMH Gezina uses one switchboard and a form with five categories: Ford new car specials, quality used cars, the Ford finance department, service your Ford, and the Ford parts department. Choosing the right one is what gets the message to the right desk, because the switchboard and the lead mailbox both funnel into the same place. Picking Service on the form is a materially better route than e-mailing the lead address.
Gezina is one of eight CMH Ford branches
The group runs Ford dealerships at Ballito, Durban, Durban South, Gezina, Hatfield, Randburg, Umhlanga and Steyns Auto. Two of those, Gezina and Hatfield, are in Pretoria, so a Pretoria caller has a second option in the same group if Gezina cannot fit the car in. Stock and demo units move between branches within a group far more easily than between groups, which is worth asking about if the model you want is not on the floor.
Three things to have ready when you phone
- For a service booking, the vehicle identification number and the current mileage. The plan cover is keyed on both.
- For a finance question, the agreement number rather than your name – CMH is the dealer, but the agreement usually sits with a bank.
- For a used vehicle, ask whether it is Ford Approved or a plain trade-in. The two carry different warranties and the price difference reflects that.
