Search for Hyundai Boksburg and you can reach either of two dealerships. Both are in Boksburg and both belong to the Motus group. One trades as Hyundai Boksburg. The other trades as Hyundai East Rand, even though its address is in Boksburg too. They are separate businesses with separate workshops, so a service booked at one does not exist at the other. How to tell which one you dealt with

Look at the dealership name on your invoice, job card or sales agreement. It will say either Boksburg or East Rand.
Look at the street address on the same paperwork: North Rand Road or Pond Road.
If you only have a phone number from an old SMS, match it to 011 826 or 011 823.

This matters most for a vehicle already in the workshop, a warranty repair in progress, or a deposit paid on a car. Each of those is held by one dealership only. Calling the other will usually get you a polite answer that there is no record, and a wasted morning.

Breakdowns and national routes

For a breakdown, call Hyundai Roadside Assistance on 0861 111 256 rather than either dealership. It is the national line printed on every Hyundai dealer page. If the vehicle has to be towed, tell the roadside operator which of the two Boksburg dealers you want it taken to, by name and address. A complaint that neither dealership resolves can go to Hyundai South Africa. The Motus group head office, on 010 493 4400, is the owner of both.
