People searching for “Motorite insurance” or “Motor Ride service plan” usually mean one of the vehicle protection products Motorite administers: a mechanical warranty (often sold as an extended warranty), a service plan or a maintenance plan. For any of these, the contact number is 087 312 1079, for both queries and claims.

Motorite’s own website is down
motorite.co.za does not load. The domain still exists and still points at a server, but that server does not answer, returning a connection timeout. We checked over both the secure and insecure addresses on 24 September 2026 and again on 26 September 2026, and neither worked.
There is no alternative Motorite address either. motoriteadministrators.co.za and motorite.africa do not exist.
This matters for more than convenience. Because the brand’s own site is unreachable, anything presenting itself as a Motorite website right now should be treated with caution. Go to motovantage.co.za, which is the parent group’s live site and names Motorite as its subsidiary.
There is no published email address
MotoVantage publishes no email address anywhere on its site, for Motorite or for any of its other brands. Its contact page offers telephone numbers, a Let Us Call You Back form, a Customer Self-Service link and a Quick Quote/Buy Online route.
Addresses ending in motorite.co.za circulate on directory sites. We have not published one, because the mailbox cannot be confirmed against a working official source and the domain behind it is not currently serving.
If you need something in writing, use the call-back form on motovantage.co.za, or ask on the call for an address to send documents to, and confirm it with the agent before you send anything.
Know which brand your policy is with
MotoVantage runs several brands, each with its own number, and people often hold a product without knowing which company administers it.
- Motorite, on 087 312 1079, administers vehicle warranty, service plan and maintenance plan products.
- SMART, on 087 312 1076, is Small Area Repair Technology Underwriting Managers, for minor cosmetic repair cover.
- Streamline, on 087 030 2090, is Streamline Repair Holdings.
Check your policy schedule for the administrator’s name before you dial. The dealership that sold you the product is often not the company that administers it.
A contradiction on the Streamline number
Worth flagging if you are trying to reach Streamline rather than Motorite. MotoVantage’s contact page contains two different numbers for it.
The visible blocks on the page give Streamline as 087 030 2090. A hidden block in the same page, which does not display in a browser, gives Streamline as 087 312 1083. That second number is almost certainly a stale entry left in the page.
Use the visible one, 087 030 2090. Motorite’s own number is 087 312 1079 in both the visible and hidden versions, so there is no ambiguity there.
Who Motorite is
Motorite Administrators Proprietary Limited is a licensed financial services provider, FSP 9140, company registration number 1997/000637/07. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of MotoVantage Holdings Proprietary Limited, registration number 2014/182594/07.
It administers vehicle protection products rather than selling vehicles, and those products reach customers through dealerships, banks, manufacturers and brokers. Most people first encounter Motorite when buying a car, extending manufacturer cover, or financing a vehicle.
The FSP number is useful. It lets you confirm that the company you are dealing with is the licensed one, which is worth doing when the brand’s own website is not loading.
Before you call
Have your policy or contract number, and the vehicle registration and VIN.
For a claim, have the repairer’s details and the quote, and call before authorising work. Plans of this kind normally require approval in advance, and a repair already done is much harder to claim for.
Know where you bought the product and roughly when, since that helps locate a policy sold through a dealership.
