What Amplifin provides
Amplifin was founded in 1995 and is a participant in South Africa’s National Payment System. It is a SARB-registered System Operator and Third-Party Payment Provider, an authorised financial services provider (FSP 54907), and PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. Its services for businesses include debit orders (DebiCheck, Registered Mandate and EFT), card payments on ALLPS devices, and payouts.
Amplifin states that it is not a credit provider and does not offer credit facilities or financial services to individuals. If you see an Amplifin debit order, your agreement is with the Amplifin client that collected it, through a paper, voice or electronic mandate that sets the amount, date and duration. Collected money reaches the client’s account once the payer’s bank gives final responses, typically two business days after processing.

Support and debit order disputes
If you do not recognise an Amplifin debit order, first identify the business behind it, because your agreement is with that client. Amplifin explains the dispute rules on its DebiCheck page:
- A collection that matches an authenticated DebiCheck mandate cannot be successfully disputed and refunded.
- A DebiCheck collection outside the mandate’s amount or date, and any arrears re-presentation, can be disputed and reversed.
- Non-authenticated debit orders (EFT) are reversed when you dispute them with your bank.
Amplifin does not publish a separate escalation line; call Customer Care on +27 12 998 7979 or email info@amplifin.co.za. For other business service providers, browse the business hub or the business directory A listings.
Frequently asked questions

Why is Amplifin on my bank statement?
Amplifin collects debit orders for its business clients. The debit order comes from a business you have a mandate with, not from Amplifin lending you money.
