Harcourts South Africa is a franchised network. The head office handles the brand, the franchise agreements and complaints about a franchisee; the office that is actually selling or renting your property has its own number, and that is the one that answers a property question.

Harcourts South Africa head office

Note the path: the head office contact page is at /contact, not /contact-us, which returns a 404. The same page carries the directory of individual franchised offices.

Some franchised office numbers

There are dozens more. The full list, with the office covering a particular suburb, is on the Harcourts contact page itself, and it changes as franchises open and close, so check it rather than an old listing.

Which office to call

Before you pay anything

Property deposit fraud works by intercepting email and substituting banking details. No estate agency banking details should ever be taken from an email, from a website, or from a page like this one. Phone the office on a number you looked up yourself, ask a person to read the account details to you, and confirm them again after you have paid but before the funds are cleared. This site does not publish anyone’s bank account details for exactly this reason.
