Kei Spar Mthatha Contact Details

Kei SPAR in Mthatha is listed by SPAR as Spargs Kei, and the address holds two SPAR-group stores: a SUPERSPAR and a TOPS liquor store. SPAR does not publish individual store telephone numbers on its store finder, so the published routes are SPAR Customer Care on 0860 313 141 and the SPAR head office on 031 719 1900.

Spargs Kei SUPERSPAR and TOPS at 34 Craister Street

Both stores sit at 34 Craister Street, Mthatha, Eastern Cape. The Spargs Kei SUPERSPAR is the larger format, carrying a full grocery range plus in-store departments. The Spargs Kei TOPS is the group liquor brand and trades under its own licence and trading hours, which differ from the supermarket’s.

Mthatha was formerly called Umtata, and SPAR’s own records use both spellings across its Eastern Cape listings, so try either spelling if one returns nothing.

SPAR customer care and head office numbers

SPAR Customer Care on 0860 313 141 is the group’s general line, and the head office on 031 719 1900 takes matters the customer care line cannot settle. The SPAR store finder on spar.co.za lists the store by name, type and street address. SPAR also runs a rewards programme with its own customer care route, separate from general customer care.

• For anything about a purchase, stock or staff at the store itself, go in person or ask for the store manager.
• SPAR stores are independently owned and run, so the store manager, not head office, resolves most complaints.
• Group in-store brands you may find include the SPAR butchery, bakery and pharmacy offerings.
