Mamayila Security publishes no website and no telephone number, so there is nothing first-party to quote. The security regulator’s register does return results for the name – eight of them – and every single one is the same kind of record: an application with no PSiRA number against it. What the register actually returned

Searching Mamayila on PSiRA’s company register brings back entries under Mamayila, Mamayila Security, Mamayila company and Mamayila Trading Enterprise. Not one of them carries a PSiRA registration number, and all of them show a registration status of In Progress.

Rows shaped like that are not company registrations. They are applications by individuals – security officers registering themselves – who typed their employer’s name into the company field. They tell you people are working under that name. They do not tell you that the business itself is registered, and they confer nothing on it.

What that means when you are hiring

So the question to put to Mamayila Security, in writing, is a single one: what is the company’s own PSiRA number? The rows above answer for the officers, not for the business.

This page does not say the business is unregistered. It may hold a registration under a different legal name, which is common and perfectly ordinary – a trading name and a registered name are frequently not the same. What can be said is that no company registration is visible under this name, and that a provider who cannot produce a number when asked has told you something.

Four spellings, eight rows, one pattern

The variety in the returned names is itself informative. Officers have typed the employer in four different ways – Mamayila, Mamayila Security, Mamayila company and Mamayila Trading Enterprise. People do not invent four spellings of a business that hands them a registration certificate with a fixed legal name on it. What that pattern usually indicates is a workforce filling in the field from memory rather than from a document.

Mamayila Trading Enterprise is worth noting separately. If the business is registered anywhere it is more likely to be under a trading-enterprise style name than under the shorter one, so that is the phrase to quote when you ask for the number – and the one to try if you search the register yourself.
