It works across South Africa but concentrates on Alexandra, Marlboro and the surrounding areas. Key people in the foundation were born in Alexandra, and it works through the ward councillors so that it knows what each community actually needs.

• A learning centre partnership with Iphutheng Primary School in Alexandra, begun in 2018. The school had been using an old shipping container as a library; the foundation built a library in 2019 with books, reading nooks and study corners, appointed two librarians and sponsored a printer, laptops and internet. The library now doubles as a classroom for online teaching.
• A food programme that began with 100 loaves of bread a week to the elderly at Tshebedisano Community Centre in Alexandra and now distributes more than 20 000 loaves a month, through eight drop-off points and seven distribution points.
• A grocery hamper project, launched in August 2017 around Johannesburg and now funding hampers in Durban and Cape Town as well.
• A development centre, started in January 2021, running self-development workshops, counselling, and carpentry and sewing programmes.
