The Gauteng Division has two seats: Pretoria, which is the main division, and Johannesburg, which is the local division on 010 494 8486. Pretoria is on 012 315 7602. High court work covers serious crime, high value civil claims, divorces and appeals from magistrate courts.

The Johannesburg court is at Office 106, First Floor, on the corner of Von Brandis and Pritchard Street, Johannesburg. Post for both Gauteng seats goes to Private Bag X10, Marshalltown, 2107.
Applications and escalation
Because the two Gauteng seats share one private bag, correspondence must name the division and the seat. The Johannesburg magistrate court, a different court entirely, is at 26 Fox Street on 011 491 5000 and publishes a separate Family Court line.
