The switchboard, and the closed hospital website
The switchboard, +27 (0)12 354 1000, is the only hospital contact that could be verified on an official source. Call it and ask to be put through to the ward, clinic or department you need.
The hospital’s own website, sbah.org.za, has been officially shut down. It now shows only a “Website Discontinued” notice, which says the site is no longer actively maintained. The notice keeps the hospital telephone number and sends readers to the government portals at gauteng.gov.za and health.gov.za for current information.
