Impala Bafokeng is the operation formerly known as Royal Bafokeng Platinum, which became a subsidiary of Impala Platinum Holdings after the 2023 acquisition. What Impala Bafokeng is
- Mining operations on the Western Limb of the Bushveld Complex near Rustenburg, which Implats describes as adjacent and contiguous with the Impala Rustenburg operations
- It operates the Bafokeng Rasimone Platinum Mine, known as BRPM, and Styldrift Mine, plus two concentrators
- The Maseve mining operations are under care and maintenance
- At BRPM the Merensky and UG2 reefs are mined concurrently using conventional and hybrid methods; Styldrift is a mechanised bord and pillar operation currently mining the Merensky reef only
