KB Mining Evander Contact Details

KB Mining (Pty) Ltd can be reached on 034 326 8661 or at info@kbmining.co.za, at 11 Reading Street, Evander, Mpumalanga, 2280. It is an underground contract mining company based in the Mpumalanga gold town, and it works for mine owners rather than the public, so its contact route is a single office line and an enquiry form that asks which service you need.

What KB Mining does

• Equipping and stoping, the core underground production activities.
• Support installation, which is the ground-support work that keeps an excavation safe.
• Underground development, creating the tunnels and access ways ahead of production.
• Underground construction.
• Commodity experience across gold, silver and platinum group metals.

This is underground contract mining specifically, which is a different discipline from opencast contracting. If your project is an open pit, this is not the right contractor.

KB Mining safety record and careers

• KB Mining publishes a SHEQ and compliance section covering safety, health, environment and quality, which is the first thing to review when appointing an underground contractor.
• Underground contractors work under the Mine Health and Safety Act, so ask about the safety record and the statutory appointments before contracting.
• A careers section and a sustainability section are published on the same site.
• Job seekers should use the careers route rather than the general enquiry form, which is aimed at mining clients.
