Mercedes-Benz South Africa is the local arm of the German vehicle manufacturer, handling passenger car sales, servicing and financial services. The contact details below were read from the Mercedes-Benz South Africa support and contact page on 31 August 2026.

Official contact channels

0800 133 355 is toll-free; the sales line is a Pretoria geographic number and the two 0861 finance lines are charged at a national rate. The general number is the right starting point when you do not know which division owns your query.

What this organisation provides

Mercedes-Benz South Africa covers the passenger car range including Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Maybach, along with servicing and repair, breakdown and damage assistance, recalls and service measures, charging solutions for electric models, and vehicle finance and insurance.

Mercedes-Benz Financial Services is a separate business from the vehicle side, with its own numbers and mailboxes. A settlement figure, an instalment query or a finance application cannot be dealt with by the general enquiries line, and a dealership cannot resolve it either.

Servicing, warranty work and test drives are handled by the franchised dealer, not by head office. Head office publishes national numbers; the dealer holds your vehicle history and booking diary, so a service query starts there.

Address and operating information

Physical address: 210 Aramist Avenue, Waterkloof Glen, Pretoria, 0010.

Mercedes-Benz South Africa does not publish call centre operating hours on its contact page. The Pretoria address is a corporate office rather than a showroom or workshop – do not take a vehicle there for service.

Manufacturing is at a separate plant in East London, Eastern Cape, which is not a customer contact point either.

Support and escalation routes

Take a vehicle fault or service dispute to the selling or servicing dealer first, then to 0800 133 355 with the VIN, the dealer name and the job card number. Recalls and service measures are published on the Mercedes-Benz site and are carried out free of charge – check there before paying for related work.

A finance dispute follows a different path entirely: raise it with Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, and if unresolved take it to the National Credit Regulator or the Ombud for Financial Services Providers, since that is a credit agreement rather than a vehicle defect.

An unresolved vehicle or dealer complaint can go to the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa, which adjudicates disputes between consumers and the motor industry at no cost to the consumer.
