Avo publishes no telephone number, no email address and no contact page. Every contact style path on its site, including contact us, support, help centre and customer support, loads the ordinary shop page instead. Support is inside the app, and the fallback for anything involving your bank account is Nedbank.
Official contact channels
- Avo support: inside the Avo app, which is the only route Avo publishes
- Nedbank head office and all regional offices: 010 224 8000, Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30
- Nedbank client feedback: [email protected]
- Nedbank lost or stolen cards, all hours: 0800 110 929, or 010 217 4330 from abroad
- Enbi, the Nedbank 24 hour assistant, on the Nedbank Money app and Online Banking
What this organisation provides
Avo is a Nedbank backed shopping and services platform covering a shop, prepaid airtime and vouchers, travel, banking, rewards and motoring, together with instalment style payment through Avo EasyTerms and links to Nedbank Greenbacks rewards. It is designed around the app rather than the website, which is why the website carries no service desk. Note that Nedbank contact page does not list Avo either, so asking a general Nedbank agent about an Avo order may not reach the right team quickly.
Address and operating information
Nedbank Group Limited is at 135 Rivonia Road, Sandown, 2196, and Nedbank publishes one number, 010 224 8000, for the head office and all of its regional offices in Gauteng, the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape, open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30. Avo itself publishes no physical address. Because there is no published Avo telephone number anywhere, treat any number presented to you as an Avo helpline with suspicion, particularly if it arrives by message or appears in a search advertisement, since a fake support line is a common way to obtain banking credentials.
Support and escalation routes
Raise an order, delivery or refund problem inside the app first and keep the reference and screenshots, because that is the only channel Avo publishes. If the matter concerns your Nedbank account, a card, a debit order or a payment rather than the order itself, use the Nedbank routes above, and report a lost or stolen card immediately on the all hours number. An unresolved complaint about goods, delivery or a refund is a Consumer Protection Act matter for the National Consumer Commission, and where an item was supplied by a third party merchant through the platform, that merchant is the supplier for those purposes. A complaint about how the bank handled an account or a payment goes to the National Financial Ombud on 0860 800 900 once the bank process is exhausted, and a credit agreement matter such as an instalment plan goes to the National Credit Regulator on 0860 627 627.
