Dr Evelyn Moshokoa is a urologist practising from two consulting rooms – one at Midstream Hill between Centurion and Olifantsfontein, and one at Louis Pasteur in Pretoria Central. Each site has its own telephone number, so the first thing to establish is which one your appointment is at.
Official contact channels
Midstream Hill rooms
- Telephone: 012 652 9642
- Olifantsfontein 410-JR, Olifantsfontein, 1666. Mediclinic gives the same rooms more precisely as Suite 211, Midstream Medical Park, corner Midstream Hill Boulevard and Godley Road, Centurion, 1692.
Louis Pasteur rooms, Pretoria Central
- Telephone: 012 322 2217
- 374 Francis Baard Street, Pretoria Central, Pretoria, 0002.
- Email for both rooms: info@drmoshokoa.com
- Opening hours, both sites: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 16:00. Closed Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
- An online booking form is available on the practice website.
Published hours are worth having for a specialist practice, and these are narrower than most – the rooms close at 16:00 and do not open at weekends at all.
What this organisation provides
- Urology – conditions of the urinary tract in men and women and the male reproductive system, including stones, prostate disease, incontinence, urinary infection and cancers of the urinary tract.
- Urogynaecology, which is the overlap between urology and gynaecology and covers pelvic floor problems and incontinence in women. It is a distinct sub-interest and not something every urologist offers.
- Some procedures are done in the rooms under local anaesthetic rather than requiring a theatre admission.
- Medicolegal services, highlighted by the practice, including Road Accident Fund cases and litigation support. This is specialist report work for legal claims rather than treatment, and it is a service most urology practices do not advertise – if you need a medicolegal urology report for an RAF claim, this is a practice that states it does them.
- The practice is associated with a foundation carrying the doctor’s name, which runs separately from the clinical practice.
Address and operating information
- Midstream Hill: Olifantsfontein 410-JR, Olifantsfontein, 1666 – in the Midstream Medical Park complex.
- Louis Pasteur: 374 Francis Baard Street, Pretoria Central, 0002.
- The two are roughly 30km apart. Note also that Francis Baard Street carries several medical buildings at similar numbers, so use 374 rather than navigating by the street name alone.
- Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 16:00 at both sites. Closed weekends and public holidays.
- The practice website does not publish an HPCSA registration number. To confirm a practitioner is registered and in good standing, contact the Health Professions Council on 012 389 9300.
Support and escalation routes
- Bring prior scans, urine results and a current medicine list. Several urological drugs interact with routine chronic medication, and prior imaging usually prevents a repeat scan.
- Surgery and day procedures need scheme pre-authorisation before the date. Confirm in writing what has been approved, and remember that the surgeon, any anaesthetist and the facility bill separately.
- Complaints about professional conduct or standard of care go to the Health Professions Council of South Africa on 012 389 9300. Scheme disputes go to the Council for Medical Schemes after the scheme’s own appeal. A dispute about a Road Accident Fund claim itself is a matter for the RAF and your attorney, not for the medical practice that wrote the report.
