EBK Auto Dealers is a used car dealership group in the southern suburbs of Johannesburg, trading from several sites around La Rochelle, Rosettenville and Brixton. It is one of the few dealerships that opens on a Sunday.

Two more branches are listed without contact details: 21 La Rochelle, Glenesk, and 134 High Street, Brixton. Both appear in the site’s branch list but neither has a telephone number or email published anywhere on the contact page. Use one of the three numbers above and ask to be put through.
Each branch also lists an email address, but all three are personal first-name mailboxes belonging to individual salespeople rather than branch or department addresses. They are not reproduced here: staff move on, a personal mailbox is not covered when someone is away, and it is the wrong place to send identity or banking documents for a vehicle purchase. - The site spells the suburb both Rosettenville and Rossettenville on the same page. The standard spelling is Rosettenville.
Support and escalation routes
- Get the vehicle independently inspected before you pay a deposit, and get every promise about service history, warranty or repairs written into the sale agreement. A verbal assurance at a dealership is close to unenforceable.
- The Consumer Protection Act overrides a voetstoots clause for a dealer selling in the ordinary course of business. You have six months to return goods that turn out to be defective, and the choice of repair, replacement or refund is yours.
- Unresolved disputes about the vehicle, a repair or a warranty go to the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa on 010 590 8378, which is free to consumers. Complaints about the credit agreement instead – reckless lending, undisclosed fees – go to the National Credit Regulator on 0860 627 627.
