The Port Elizabeth branch appears on Makro’s store finder as Makro Gqeberha following the city’s renaming. The contact number, WhatsApp number and email shown for this branch are the same routes printed against other Makro stores, including East London and Bloemfontein.
Makro runs one national contact centre rather than separate store-level telephone lines. The store finder therefore repeats the national number under the Gqeberha address rather than providing a telephone number that connects directly to the branch or its stock control team.

For stock, price and availability at the Gqeberha store, the page directs customers to WhatsApp on 060 019 7747. It describes WhatsApp as the fastest of the three contact routes and notes that it provides a written answer that can be taken to the till.
For online orders, deliveries and returns, use 0860 600 999 or Info@makro.co.za and quote the order number. For trade and business accounts, the existing guidance is to use the store account desk in-store because account terms are set per customer rather than nationally.

This means the Gqeberha store may still be trading at a time when head office is closed, particularly over a weekend.
