Engen garages are run by independent dealers, so an individual filling station has no number published by Engen. What Engen does publish is a national customer service line, an ethics line and the switchboards of its regional offices — and those are what a complaint about a garage actually goes to.

Engen contact details

Use the customer service number for anything that happened at a garage: fuel quality, a card charged twice, a forecourt attendant, a damaged vehicle, a shop or Quickshop complaint. Quote the garage name, the town, the date and the time — Engen has to identify which dealer it was before it can do anything.

Engen offices

Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth and the refinery all route their published contact number back to the Cape Town switchboard on 021 403 4911. Only Johannesburg and Durban answer on their own lines.

Finding a garage, and one thing to watch

Engen runs a locator on engen.co.za that returns the nearest station rather than a directory of numbers, and the Engen 1app covers rewards and payments. Because stations are dealer-owned, a “head office” number circulating for a particular garage on a listing site is usually the dealer’s own line and is not something Engen has published. If you are chasing a fuel-card or account query rather than a forecourt complaint, that belongs to Engen Fleet under Business Solutions, not to the customer service line.
