Linex Air Services Contact Details

Linex Air Services is the South African arm of Linex, an air freight and line-haul logistics business. It publishes no telephone number and no email address anywhere on its website — not for South Africa and not for any of its other countries. Everything goes through one online form.

The only route Linex publishes

• The contact form at linexsolutions.com, which asks for your name, email and phone number.
• A Location dropdown on that form, with South Africa as one of the options alongside Hong Kong, China, Singapore, the UAE, the UK and about a dozen others. Pick South Africa or your enquiry is routed elsewhere.
• An Enquiry Type field: Cathay Courier, General Enquiry, Account Creation, Price Quotation, or Others.
• Origin, destination and tracking number fields, plus a file upload for documents.
• A separate Customer Zone for existing account holders, and a shipment tracking page.

Because the form defaults to Hong Kong, the location field is the one people forget. Set it before you type the message.

Any Linex phone number you find elsewhere is not from Linex

Business directories carry a Kempton Park landline and a Pomona Road address for Linex Air Services. Those did not come from the company, and this page does not repeat them. If you are an existing customer, the number to use is the one on your own account documentation or in the Customer Zone, which is account-specific and current.

What Linex actually does, so you use the right enquiry type

• It is the exclusive GSA for Cathay Courier — a general sales agent, meaning it sells and handles that carrier’s courier product rather than flying the aircraft itself.
• HUB-EZ is its e-commerce logistics product.
• Line-haul transportation, customs clearance, gateway logistics and specialised delivery for time-sensitive shipments.
• It describes itself as a Lenton Group company operating across more than 30 countries.

This is not a consumer courier

Linex works with businesses and freight, not with someone posting a parcel to a relative. If you are tracking a personal delivery and Linex came up, the shipment is probably moving under a retailer’s or a courier’s account, and that company — the one you actually bought from — is who can tell you where it is. Linex will not discuss another party’s consignment with you.

Lithium batteries and restricted goods

Linex advertises lithium battery shipping through Cathay Courier. Batteries are dangerous goods by air and are governed by IATA rules, not by a courier’s preference. Declare them at the quotation stage rather than at hand-over, because an undeclared dangerous goods shipment is offloaded and can carry a penalty.

If a shipment goes wrong

• Raise it through the form with the tracking number and the file upload, so the airway bill is attached from the start.
• A cargo claim runs to a deadline set in the carriage terms, so lodge it in writing early even if the details are incomplete.
• A customs charge is levied by SARS, not by the logistics provider, and is disputed with SARS.
