Absa Preservation Fund and related products
The Absa Preservation Fund is for keeping your retirement savings invested when you move to a new employer, after retrenchment, or as flexible retirement savings. Absa says there are no penalties related to a minimum investment term or contributions.
Absa unit trusts are a separate route: they are serviced by Sanlam Investments on 0860 100 266 or service@sanlaminvestments.com, not by the Linked Platform.
Absa Consultants and Actuaries (ACA), once an Absa fund administrator, now sits under Sanlam, so it is not an Absa contact route.
Eligibility and account requirements
The minimum investment into the Absa Preservation Fund is R25 000. You do not need to bank with Absa already: non-Absa customers can register as customers in order to apply.
If you are a former Absa employee looking for the Absa Group’s own staff pension fund, it does not publish a public contact route. Contact Absa HR or the fund’s administrator instead; this page does not cover the staff fund.
