The Qwaqwa Campus has its own number, +27 58 718 5000. The contact centre also runs a chat line on +27 87 240 6370. The contact centre and chat line are open Monday to Friday, 07:45 to 16:30.
Admissions and student support
Applications, admission and registration questions go to Student Contact Services (press 1) or Studentadmin@ufs.ac.za. Alumni who need transcripts should email Transcripts@ufs.ac.za. For academic advice, email GPS@ufs.ac.za or press 2.
The Financial Aid Office handles NSFAS, bursaries and loans. Email the office for your campus: FinAidenquiriesbfn@ufs.ac.za (Bloemfontein), FinAidenquiriessouth@ufs.ac.za (South Campus) or FinAidQwa@ufs.ac.za (Qwaqwa). Student Accounts handles first payments, quotations, refunds and Fundi; on the Bloemfontein Campus, email tuitionfees@ufs.ac.za. Finance and registration queries can also be submitted on www.ufs.ac.za under “registration queries”.
For IT problems, email Studentdesk@ufs.ac.za or press 4. The Blackboard Helpdesk (press 5, Helpdesk@ufs.ac.za) also works after hours: 16:30 to 21:00 on weekdays and 09:00 to 18:00 on weekends and public holidays. Your Blackboard username is your student number and your password is your UFS campus password; modules appear 24 hours after you register.
