Lionel Motors in Rustenburg is two separate franchise dealerships on the same corner, each with its own phone number: Lionel Motors Nissan and Lionel Motors Renault. Both belong to Super Group Dealerships. Calling the wrong one is the most common reason people get transferred, so pick the brand first. The Nissan number also reaches its service advisors and booking clerk. Start with the dealership that sold or serviced the vehicle and keep your invoice or job card number. If the dealership cannot resolve a complaint, the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa takes vehicle sales, service and repair complaints on 010 590 8378 or info@miosa.co.za. A manufacturer warranty claim still has to be lodged through a franchised dealer of that brand, so a Nissan claim cannot be handled by the Renault side, and the other way round.
