The Renault dealership serving Queenstown trades as Kelston Renault Komani. Queenstown was renamed Komani, and both names remain in everyday use, which is why the dealership carries one and its street address the other. They are the same town and the same dealership.
Local channels
- Kelston Renault Komani: 045 499 0988
- Renault-approved body shop, Komani Panelbeaters: 045 839 6285
- Renault South Africa national enquiries: [email protected]
- The dealership publishes a call-back request form on its own site
A word of caution on the national number. Renault South Africa prints a share-call number in its own website footer that carries eleven digits, one more than an 0860 number can have, so it will not dial as printed. Use the dealership line or the national email instead of trying to correct it yourself.
Address
- Dealership: 177 Cathcart Road, Queenstown (Komani), Eastern Cape
- Body shop: 15 Francis Street, Queenstown
- The sales and service dealership and the approved body shop are at separate addresses
- No trading hours are published for either site
The two addresses matter after an accident. Accident damage goes to the approved body shop in Francis Street, while mechanical service and warranty work goes to the dealership in Cathcart Road. Arriving at the wrong one costs a second trip across town.
Services at this location
- New Renault sales across the current model range
- Used vehicle sales
- Servicing by qualified technicians using genuine Renault parts
- Parts supply
- Test drives and current national offers
- Accident repair through the separately located approved body shop
Use the approved body shop rather than an independent panelbeater while the car is under warranty or a service plan. Repairs outside the approved network are the usual reason a later warranty claim on related parts is refused.
Parent organisation
- The dealership is part of the Kelston Motor Group, which operates across the Eastern Cape
- The franchise brand is Renault South Africa
- Warranty and service plan terms are set nationally by Renault, not by the individual dealer
- Complaints the dealer does not resolve go to Renault South Africa on [email protected]
- Beyond the brand, the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa on 010 590 8378 handles unresolved motor disputes
MIOSA covers sales, repairs and warranty disputes and its service is free to consumers, but it expects the dealer and then the brand to have been given a chance first. Keep your job cards and written correspondence; a complaint without them is much harder to run.
