Discovery Bank fraud line, lost card fee and card replacement
If your card is stolen or you suspect fraud, call Discovery Bank on 011 324 4444, 24/7, 365 days a year. Discovery Bank does charge to replace a card: on the Prefunded Gold Card account a replacement card costs R210. On the Black Transaction Account, one replacement is free in a 12-month period and each one after that costs R210 (fees guides effective 1 September 2026).
- Replace a card in the app: Cards > scroll to the card > Replace card > choose a reason > Delivery or Collection.
- Cancel a card in the app: Cards > Cancel card > Confirm.

How to submit proof of address to Discovery Bank
To update your home address or submit proof of address, log in to online.discovery.bank and go to Accounts > Outstanding action. For address verification, click Edit if your address is not correct, then select the document set you want to upload. If the proof of address is not in your name, select No, give the details of the person whose name it is in and upload their document. Discovery also uses location data from the app to confirm your address for FICA.
Discovery Bank fixed deposit interest rates
Discovery’s savings fees page lists these Fixed Deposit rates (minimum R10 000), with interest paid monthly (NACM). Discovery gives them “as at the publication date”, so always check the current rate in the app before you invest.
