Investec 24-hour call centre and client support

For day-to-day queries, call the line for your business unit so you reach a team that can see your account. Investec notes that phone calls to Investec Bank may be recorded to verify information and meet regulatory requirements. Have your Investec account number ready, as it helps Investec locate your profile quickly.
Investec email and online queries
Investec’s contact page does not list a general email address. Instead, it has a “How may we assist you?” form. Choose whether you want to become a client, are an existing client with a query, or have another query. Existing clients select the account type the query relates to, such as Private Banking, Wealth & Investment International, Personal Cash Investments, Business and Commercial Banking, Investec Life, Corporate & Investment Banking, Intermediaries or My Investments. Clients can also use the Investec Private Client App, logging in with an Investec ID and password.
Does Investec have a WhatsApp number?
Investec’s South African contact page lists phone numbers, an online form and the app, but no WhatsApp number. If you receive a WhatsApp message claiming to be from Investec, do not share passwords, one-time PINs or card details, and call Investec yourself on 0860 110 161 to check.
