The Betway contact number is 0861 787 250 (standard rate), and Betway’s Contact Us page also offers live support chat and its X account, @Betway_za. The Betway support email is support@betway.co.za. If you are looking for Betway offices in Durban, Mbombela or eMalahleni, Betway does not list walk-in offices on its website. The only physical address it publishes is the one in the PAIA manual of Raging River Trading (Pty) Ltd, one of the two licensed companies behind Betway South Africa: Waterview Park, 1 Waterview Close, Century City, 7441, Cape Town. Betway offices in Durban, Mbombela and eMalahleni
Betway is an online bookmaker and does not publish branch offices in Durban, Mbombela (Nelspruit), eMalahleni (Witbank) or any other town. Customers in KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga use the same channels as everyone else: 0861 787 250, live chat, and support@betway.co.za. The Mpumalanga link is regulatory rather than a walk-in office. Eastern Dawn Sports (Pty) Ltd (2021/915692/07), one of the companies that promotes Betway South Africa, is licensed and regulated by the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator under bookmaker licence 9-2-1-09658. The other, Raging River Trading (Pty) Ltd (2011/134505/07), is licensed by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board under bookmaker licence 10181496-012, first issued on 1 December 2016.
Betway FICA verification
Betway must collect a copy of your ID and proof of residence under the Financial Intelligence Centre Act. If your identity is not verified automatically when you register, email a copy of your ID document to fica@betway.co.za and Betway activates the account once it is verified. You may be asked for a recent proof of residence later, usually when you request a withdrawal. Betway says reviewing documents can take up to 24 business hours.
Betway deposits: when a payment is missing
Instant deposit methods include i-Pay and SiD instant bank transfer, Visa and Mastercard, and OTT Voucher; Betway also accepts EFT from FNB, Absa, Standard Bank and Nedbank. If an instant deposit succeeded but is not showing, click the Cash button at the top left of your account to refresh your balance. If it still does not appear, email the PDF proof of deposit to eftclearance@betway.co.za; Betway says this can take up to 48 hours. Normal EFT deposits are allocated in four windows each day: 09:00 to 10:00, 13:00 to 14:00, 17:00 to 18:00 and 20:00 to 21:00.
Betway withdrawals
Withdraw from My Account, then Withdraw Funds. Betway pays only to a bank account in the account holder’s name, never to third parties, and may ask for a bank statement showing your account number, bank name and branch code. Betway’s FAQ gives two timeframes: one answer says withdrawals generally take one to two business days, another says two to five business days. If your money has not arrived after that, email support@betway.co.za with your username, the date of the request and the amount. You can ask support to reverse a withdrawal into your Betway balance only before Finance has paid it out, and only for the full amount.
When you cannot place a bet
Betway suggests logging out, clearing your browser cache, cookies and temporary files, then logging back in, and trying another device or connection. If the problem persists, contact support with the exact error message, your selections and, if possible, a screenshot.
Responsible gambling
No one under 18 may bet. The National Responsible Gambling Programme is on 0800 006 008, or WhatsApp “HELP” to 076 675 0710 (South African Responsible Gambling Foundation).
