The Hollywoodbets customer support number is 087 353 7634 and the support email address is HWHelpline@hollywoodbets.net. Those two cover account, deposit, withdrawal and verification queries. Be careful with the number next to it: Phone A Bet is 087 353 7633, one digit different, and it exists for placing bets over the phone, not for fixing an account problem. Hollywoodbets says you can contact it at any time and does not publish call centre hours. Does Hollywoodbets have a WhatsApp or toll-free number?
Not for customer support. This is the most common mix-up, because two numbers printed in the footer of every Hollywoodbets page look like they could be. The toll-free line 0800 006 008 and the WhatsApp number 076 675 0710 belong to the South African Responsible Gambling Foundation, an independent counselling service. Hollywoodbets displays them because licensed operators must promote responsible gambling. They will not help with a withdrawal, a bet or a locked account, and calling them for that ties up a line meant for people who need help with gambling harm.
Hollywoodbets’ own real-time text option is the Live Chat button in its site and app. For a written record, use HWHelpline@hollywoodbets.net.
Hollywoodbets withdrawal and deposit queries
Hollywoodbets’ deposit help page tells customers whose deposit has not been credited to contact HWHelpline@hollywoodbets.net or call 087 353 7634. We did not find a separate withdrawals phone number or withdrawals mailbox published anywhere on Hollywoodbets’ help pages, so withdrawal problems go to the same support line and email. Be wary of any “withdrawal agent” who contacts you first or asks you to pay a fee to release winnings: that is not a published Hollywoodbets process.
When you contact support about money, include:
- your Hollywoodbets account number and the cellphone number it is registered to
- the reference number of the deposit or withdrawal, and the payment method used
- the date, time and exact amount
A withdrawal that is held is often an unverified account rather than a fault, which is why the next section matters.
FICA verification: where to send your documents
As a licensed betting operator, Hollywoodbets must verify who you are under the Financial Intelligence Centre Act. Its FICA help page says the document it needs is a copy of your ID, and gives three ways to submit it:

Self-exclusion and responsible gambling help
Hollywoodbets offers two self-exclusion routes on its Responsible Gambling page. You can complete the national self-exclusion form and email it to the National Gambling Board at info@ngb.org.za, which closes your Hollywoodbets account and returns the funds in it. Or you can email selfexclusion@hollywoodbets.net for help with the process.

Branch queries, for example about the Argyle, Pretoria or Brakpan outlets, are handled through customer support rather than head office. Hollywood Sportsbook trades through separate licensed companies in each province, which is why the licence you fall under depends on where you bet.
Complaints and escalation
Raise the problem with customer support first, in writing if it concerns money, and keep the reference. Every bet is subject to Hollywood Sportsbook’s terms and conditions of trading, published on its site, and a dispute will be judged against those rules, so read the relevant section before escalating.
