Hollywoodbets runs its recruitment through a separate careers site, Howzit Hollywood, rather than through the betting site. That is where vacancies, the CV database and the HR contact route live.

Check the address before you send a CV
This one matters. The Hollywoodbets careers site publishes the careers mailbox in two different spellings, and only one of them belongs to the company.
- The correct address is [email protected], on the company domain, which is on corporate mail hosting
- The site also shows a version with the company name misspelt, carrying an extra letter o in hollywood. That misspelt domain is not owned by Hollywoodbets. It resolves to a parked domain on a commercial domain-parking service
- A CV contains your identity number, address, employment history and contact details. Sending it to a parked look-alike domain hands all of that to a third party
- Type the address by hand rather than clicking, and check the spelling of hollywood before you attach anything
Applying, and what HR handles
- Apply through the vacancy listing on the careers site rather than by cold email, since applications are tracked against a specific role
- Hollywoodbets also advertises roles on the major job boards. Those listings should link back to the official careers site. Treat any that ask for payment as fraudulent, because a legitimate employer never charges to apply
- Current employees with payroll, leave or contract queries should use their internal HR channel rather than the public careers mailbox
- The group also runs the Hollywood Foundation, its corporate social investment arm, which is separate from recruitment
Escalation route
- For an application that gets no response, follow up on the careers mailbox quoting the role title and reference and the date you applied
- Hollywoodbets publishes a PAIA manual and privacy policy on the careers site, which set out how to request records and raise a data-protection concern
- A dispute about employment conditions or dismissal can be referred to the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration, using the contact details published on the CCMA website
