ACDC Dynamics is an electrical, electronics, pumps and tools supplier with its head office in Edenvale and branches in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape. It runs a separate number and mailbox for each function rather than one switchboard, which is worth knowing before you dial.

Which desk for which question
The split matters more here than at most suppliers. A pricing or stock question goes to the National Sales Centre, not to head office. A question about how a product works, what it is rated for, or whether it suits an installation goes to the Technical Centre, which exists precisely so sales staff are not guessing at specifications. Anything solar — panels, inverters, batteries, back-up sizing — has its own hotline and its own calculators on the site.
Warranties and returns
- ACDC states that different products carry different warranties and to check the specific warranty with your salesperson. Do that at the point of sale, in writing, not after a failure.
- Warranty registration is done online on acdc.co.za, and registering at purchase is what makes a later claim straightforward.
- Complaints go to Customer Care, which ACDC says is reachable on any of the five channels listed on its site.
Keep the invoice and the product packaging. A returned item goes for testing before a warranty decision, and an item without proof of purchase or its original identifying marks is difficult to trace to a batch.
